This IDC study presents the latest forecast of Americas application deployment software revenue segmented by 17 vertical markets and four company size categories for 2006-2010.

Noel Stevens, senior analyst, IDC Software Vertical Views, states, "During the five-year forecast period, IDC projects the fastest growth in Americas application deployment software revenue to come from the healthcare, resources, and process manufacturing industries, which are expected to grow at 2.4%, 2.3%, and 2.1%, respectively, over the life of the forecast. In addition, IDC estimates that the professional services industry accounted for the largest share of revenue, which was $341 million, or 9.5% of 2005 application deployment software application revenue."
