This IDC study leverages upon the results obtained from IDC's Enterprise End-User Survey, 2003 and reveals the trends of Internet security in the Asia/Pacific region. "Introduction of viruses was revealed from IDC's Enterprise End-User Survey, 2003 as the top threat to the Asia/Pacific enterprise space during 2003. Such a result should not come as a surprise as new viruses appear very frequently, becoming a prominent threat for the companies," said Renee Gamble, senior program manager, Fixed Line Telecom Services Research. Answers to the following questions are presented in the study: What are the threats to an organization's data, network and Internet security? What is driving the investments in Internet security? Which Internet security application is the most prevalently implemented now and in the future?
