This IDC study assesses the state of wireless LAN (WLAN) projects in the enterprises in Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) or APEJ based on the annual Communications Survey.

"Results of the survey shows that WLAN adoption has improved but remains mediocre in APEJ. Furthermore, convenience and ease of use for staff is the main reason of the respondents for using data applications and services across the countries interviewed," says Huei Min Lee, research manager, Telecommunications, IDC Malaysia.
