This IDC study presents IDC's most recent spending forecast for storage services market in Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) or APEJ. The forecast includes the five-year compound annual growth rates (CAGRs) for the individual countries and markets from 2005 through 2010.

"The managed services market has been forecast to be the fastest growing segment of storage and data management services, doubling its market size every 4 years. At this point in time, many niche storage vendors are still developing delivery engagements to operate at decent profitability in this market. Increasing the scale of management typically drives down the profitability percentage if the economies of scale are lacking," says Timothy Wong, market analyst, Asia/Pacific Storage Services, IDC.
