This IDC study presents the results of an Australia IT Infrastructure Services Survey, 2008 conducted across a number of industry verticals, within Australia. About 218 respondents were asked to indicate the level of current use and planned use of services within their organisations.

"CIOs generally are increasingly questioning the business value of IT spending, leading to IT services players to build skills and capabilities around business-related IT consulting, as well as strengthen delivery capabilities for SI services. IDC believes players that are able to achieve this in-house will stand high in the market," says Marina Beale, senior market analyst, Software, IDC Asia/Pacific.
