This IDC study observes that the BPO industry in India will continue to experience rapid growth and witness some of the fast track ramp up operations complemented by the entry of global giants. This would be primarily driven by the desire of the client to reduce cost, increase flexibility, focus on core competencies, enhance margins, and promote operational efficiency.
"However, this opportunity will get integrated around players that hone their services to meet the distinct needs of the emerging market segments and build around their delivery capabilities," notes Sheetal Rishi, analyst, India IT and Telecommunications, IDC India.
