Since the decision was taken over two years ago to halt the spin off of Deloitte Consulting (and its re-branding as Braxton), the new Deloitte has been busy positioning itself as a leading global business consultancy ? at the heart of which lies the full integration of Deloitte Consulting with its audit and tax practices. While this integration seems to be progressing smoothly, the question remains whether Deloitte will continue to pursue its various activities in outsourcing, or exit outsourcing altogether with a view to further strengthening its position as one of the leading design, build, implement business consulting and outsourcing advisory firms.
