The business outsourcing services market continues to experience strong growth in Canada and represents a tremendous opportunity for vendors with the right mix of skills to address customer requirements. Each of the four business outsourcing markets examined by IDC Canada (HR, customer care, finance & accounting, procurement) are growing at high single digit rates (procurement even higher) over the 2005 to 2009 forecast period. "There are three "must haves" for vendors to achieve success in the business outsourcing market: process execution expertise, process support (managed services) capabilities, and IT/business consulting skills to effect organizational transformation, a key outcome for customers" says Jim Westcott, IDC Canada's application and business outsourcing services analyst.
