This study describes the implementation of workflow and business process automation (BPA) at Loop Customer Management Ltd. using software from Staffware. Contrary to general opinion, the study shows that it is possible for a service industry to deliver significant improvements in customer perceptions of service, together with greater staff loyalty, through the implementation of automated solutions. According to Rob Hailstone, IDC's director of European Software Infrastructure Research, "It is refreshing to discover a real-world example where improving the customers' perception of service is the overriding objective. That this has been achieved while also reducing costs and increasing staff loyalty says much for the Staffware technology and the professionalism with which it has been implemented."
