About 30% of the total Indian population was concentrated in urban areas in 2006. This figure is expected to reach 38.2% by 2026, and the number of cities with populations of over two million will gradually increase. With rapid economic growth in major cities in recent years, income levels have increased. As a result, new types of commercial districts in cities and towns have gradually developed, as well as specialized and entertainment-focused commercial districts. This report will analyze the characteristics of these commercial districts, as well as electronics vendors' deployment in response to commercial districts' development.
