The IP communications market continues to show a tremendous growth but the market is at an important crossroad. The most obvious customers cases have implemented an IP communications solution primarily focusing on cost savings, but the remainder of enterprises are finding it harder to find the superior ROI seen in first-mover buyer cases. Hence vendors should alter their go-to-market strategies not focusing solely on costs savings but combine these savings with vertical concepts and value-added services aimed at developing the end users businesses, says Brian Troelsen, Senior Research Analyst at IDC Nordic.
