On March 4, Hewlett-Packard Company announced several new printing solutions that are designed to enable small businesses to produce marketing collateral in-house using either ink or toner technology. The company claims that the new Officejet business inkjet line delivers up to 50% lower cost per page than competitive laser printers. In addition to the Officejet products, HP also launched a line of color HP LaserJet printers that use new ColorSphere toner, as well as new monochrome LaserJet MFPs.
