On June 10, 2008, Kofax plc announced a $600,000 contract agreement with Banca Intesa Sanpaolo, Italy’s largest bank and one of Europe’s leading financial institutions. Kofax will provide a distributed capture solution to automate the processing of more than 30 million documents that originate annually in 14 of the bank’s branches in Italy. Kofax’s solution will enable the group to automatically capture and classify the information as it enters branches, and securely route it to the appropriate location for further processing or storage. This document examines the terms of the agreement and shows how Kofax was able to deliver a tailored solution to streamline the document workflow of the Italian financial institution.
