This IDC Presentation, which is part of a client presentation given in May 2006, provides an overview of LANs and storage in home office households. The number and different types of home office households are discussed, followed by the presence of LANs in home office households in general as well as home office households with students. The use of storage and backup in home office households is examined, including types of backup used as well as reasons for backing up data.
