This IDC study highlights the key findings of IDC's latest study on Malaysia enterprises' telecommunications utilization, especially on WAN deployment. The results of this study focus on the telecommunications trends of key verticals in the country.

According to Lincoln Lee, senior analyst, Telecommunications and Networking Research, IDC Malaysia, "Bandwidth consumption among enterprises in Malaysia has increased in 2006. This increase in bandwidth consumption has been brought about by growing business requirements such as increased number of users and deployment of new applications over enterprise WANs. This trend has been further accelerated by the declining bandwidth pricing as well as the aggressive rollout of IP VPN services."
