This IDC Flash discusses a series of product announcements made by Mercury Interactive at its user conference (held October 2006 in Las Vegas) to provide deeper support for specific aspects within services life-cycle management for service oriented architecture (SOA). These product announcements are particularly noteworthy given emerging user needs, lack of comparable shipping SOA products from core enterprise application life-cycle management (ALM) players, and HP's closure on its acquisition of Mercury.
