In the main, it assesses the advantages and disadvantages of initiatives such as network sharing and undertaking managed network services contracts, as well as optimizing backhaul and radio interfaces. The report also profiles a number of Western European MNOs (mobile network operators) by exploring their approaches to reducing opex (operating expenditures) and to some extent capex (capital expenditures).
