| The proliferation of digital content continues with each passing year. As more digital content becomes available, consumers demand new and improved ways to access this content via wired and wireless technologies. And, in an increasingly portable world, consumers are demanding ways in which to take their digital content with them, wherever they go, whenever they go.
In-Stat covers several different consumer electronic (CE) products that enable the portability of digital content. This report provides an overview of worldwide demand for select CE product segments found in In-Stat’s Portable and Emerging Consumer Products (PECP) service. The product segments reviewed in this report include portable media players (PMPs), electronic-based edutainment toys, and digital radio receivers.
