IDC forecasts that the Japan IT services market will maintain steady growth in 2007 amid the economic recovery and expansion. "The changes in the market are increasing the users' interest in strategic IT investment, making the IT outsourcing market more like a commodity market and also worsening the shortage of IT engineers. Therefore. it is important for service vendors to cope with such changes," observes Mimei Ito, group manager, IT Services Research, IDC Japan.
