Productivity and Quality Innovations Expand the Reach of the Xerox DocuColor 8000AP

| Announced on May 17, Xerox’s DocuColor 8000AP is an 80-ppm color printer that replaces the DocuColor 8000. Improvements over the DocuColor 8000 include its ability to run all approved substrates at rated speed, an improved duty cycle, and an in-line spectrophotometer that will be available soon. Xerox began taking orders on August 1st and is now shipping the 8000AP. It sells for the same list price as the DocuColor 8000 ($300,000 including the print engine and choice of Creo, EFI, or Xerox server).
