This IDC study analyzes the remote access services business in Asia/Pacific. Looking at some of the most prominent providers and evaluating their business models, IDC also assesses the critical factors contributing to their success and whether these factors will still stay relevant in the dynamic remote access marketplace.
"Most remote access providers have come a long way since the days where footprint and point of presence (POP) numbers were key differentiators; the market place today is all about customization, security, ubiquity, and affordability," says Lau Chi Weng, senior analyst, Fixed Line Telecommunications Research, IDC Asia/Pacific.
