It primarily operates in the US and Europe. It is headquartered in New York and employs about 6,000 people. The company recorded revenues of $1,046.7 million during the fiscal year ended December 2007, an increase of 16.7% over 2006. The company’s revenue growth was supported by an increase in revenues from both services and sales businesses. The service revenue increase was mostly due to the acquisition of Global Draw, International Lotto and Oberthur Gaming Technologies as well as due to increase in sales of instant lottery tickets in Italy. Its sales revenue grew owing to the acquisition of Games Media, and increase in sale of hardware in Canada and lottery terminal in Australia. This sales revenue growth was partially offset by the absence of one-time sale of terminals in Germany and a decline in phone card sales. The operating profit of the company was $105.8 million during fiscal year 2007, a decrease of 15.7% over 2006. The net profit was $65.4 million in fiscal year 2007, a decrease of 2.1% over 2006.
