In its effort to implement a new online banking solution and retire several platforms of earlier-generation technology, SunTrust recognized that it needed a new integrated platform to support a wide range of clients with differing preferences for information delivery. SunTrust chose to partner with Online Banking Solutions (OBS), a vendor whose comprehensive solution supported the migration of clients to automated, multichannel delivery. This choice promoted the retirement of outdated platforms and simultaneously offered a more flexible information delivery architecture to address clients' needs for new reports, new formats, and new channels.
