We have made significant changes to our mobile forecasts following data provided by the NCC for FY06and most recent figures for June 2007 as provided by mobile operators. After Taiwan’s mobile marketbroke 100% penetration rates in 2006 (reverting back to positive growth following the fall in subscriberfigures in 2005) growth in the market has understandably been slow. There were just 405,000 netadditions in the first six months of this year, and BMI would expect to see a similar level of growth overthe rest of the year. This would take the total subscriber base to 24.055mn, representing a penetration of104.6%.
