This IDC Flash looks at Massachusetts-based Authoria's intention to acquire Hire.com. The acquisition, announced on June 20, 2005, rounds out Authoria's on-demand human capital management suite with recruiting capabilities. Hire.com is Authoria's second acquisition in a year, following the June 2004 merger with Advanced Information Management Inc. (AIM). The AIM acquisition added employee performance management capabilities to the Authoria portfolio.
