This IDC Insight provides a view on leading HR BPO providers' delivery of talent management services.
Talent management consists of not only recruiting but also other functions such as competency, performance, compensation, and learning management. These processes and the data associated with them are not integrated and for some functions not automated in a majority of organizations. Firms have made investments in individual talent solutions, which further complicates the lack of exchange between the processes. IDC sees that this will become a key concern in 2006 as the war for talent continues to escalate and firms strive to identify and retain top performers. Talent process integration alone might drive firms to consider HR BPO, and buyers interested in HR BPO services will demand that talent-related services are available to them from their chosen provider.
