This study presents IDC Canada's final forecast for the Canadian telecom services market from 2004 to 2008 including detailed forecasts by industry (vertical market) sector, by region and by customer segment including business size.
"Telecom providers need to cultivate a vertical market-oriented mindset which will enable them to think like their customers," said Lawrence Surtees, Director of Telecom & Internet research at IDC Canada and report co-author. "Understanding the business needs of vertical markets will enable providers to find and exploit niche opportunities beyond saturated markets."
