This IDC Study examines the emerging trend of business transformation outsourcing (BTO). It describes the BTO model and assesses its relevance to the market. In addition, This IDC Study compares several BTO offerings from several service providers who are early entrants into this area and are shaping the evolution of the trend. The reader will learn IDC's view of the trend and its belief that customers and providers entering into BTO arrangements need to create a plan or roadmap to chart the transformation journey. This IDC Study also introduces a conceptual model that the reader can use as a tool to create a transformation roadmap.
