Highlights
The total revenues contributed by the top IT and telecom vendors amounted to over $510 billion during the quarter ending September 2007. The key trends observed during this quarter include telecom sector reported 12% year-on-year revenue growth in Q3 2007 and Telecommunications sector reported high profit growth driven by wireless sector growth. Other trends include IT generalists witnessed share price volatility, Technology vendors improved their presence in the Asia-Pacific region, HP, Samsung and EDS garnered the largest revenues among IT vendors in Q3 2007, and Vodafone, Nokia and Samsung posted the highest net profits in their respective segments.
