This article provides a brief overview of the concept of Web-to-print and explains why it has largely become a misnomer. Today’s Web-enabled capabilities include everything from ordering print to job tracking to initiating online multi-channel marketing campaigns, so they have actually become multi-channel Web services. This document considers the evolution of multi-channel Web services and provides a sneak peak of some vendors that will be demonstrating them at this year’s ON DEMAND event in Boston (March 4-6).
