According to James Eibisch, research director for IDC's European Telco Strategies, "Although demand remains extremely high for basic Internet access, the overall market is expected to decline slightly due to an increasing proportion of company sites accessing the Internet via a central gateway on a WAN or VPN, continued price erosion, and migration from leased-line to cheaper broadband services."
