According to Fred Broussard, IDC research manager, Enterprise System Management and PC and Device Management Software, "Thanks to ITIL and process management, 2005 showed continued strength in IT asset management software, with annual revenue growth of 8.1% over the forecast period. Annual growth rates averaging in the mid single digits are forecast for the foreseeable future."
