This IDC study presents our preliminary 2005 revenue data and provides a first look at the 2006-2010 forecast for the worldwide clustering and availability software (CLAS) market.
"Preliminary data shows CLAS market revenue grew as expected in 2005, with a 7.6% increase over 2004 revenue levels," said Jean Bozman, research vice president, Global Enterprise Server Solutions. "Key drivers for CLAS market growth include customers' high-availability requirements for enterprise applications, the need for business continuance in the event of outages, and the need for flexible operations that can tap available applications from two or more servers."
