This IDC study highlights the shipment and revenue market shares for enterprise IP PBX (pure and hybrid) systems, IP telephony lines/seats, and hardware desktop IP telephones for 2008.

"Although the economic turmoil did cause many of the IP telephony vendors to see a drop in the number of IP lines and IP phones in the fourth quarter of 2008, the annual market shares for 2008 did not shift dramatically since 2007," states Nora Freedman, senior analyst, Unified Communications Infrastructure at IDC.
