This IDC Forecast Update is an update to Worldwide Mobile Phone 2005?2009 Forecast Update and 1H05 Vendor Analysis: November 2005 (IDC #34408, November 2005) and includes data up until and including the third quarter (July through September) of 2005. The included forecasts have been updated based on observations derived from the third-quarter data.

Full-year 2005 data will be finalized in March of 2006 and reflected in a subsequent Market Analysis study.
