This IDC study provides a list of the top 10 IS outsourcers worldwide and in the United States in 2007, discusses which IS outsourcer firms are leading, and provides a set of future outlooks. This study also makes recommendations for services firms that are competing or want to compete in this market. The study answers the following questions:

"The world of IS outsourcing is undergoing some radical changes that involve competition among more players; the introduction of disruptive delivery models; and even the potential threat of the outsourcers' primary customer, the multinational corporation (MNC), whose use of new technologies as well as entry into emerging markets or shift from emerging markets to developed markets could upset the whole equation of today's outsourcing relationship.
