"Overall, the graphics market was relatively stable in the first quarter. In terms of shipments, the market was up 21% year over year and down 6% sequentially," said John Humphreys, research manger, Servers. "Coming off such a strong quarter in 4Q03, we expected to see some market slack and were surprised with just how little there actually was. Accounting for some product transitions and the strength of the previous quarter, the graphics market continued to demonstrate its health and robustness."
