This IDC study provides an overview of, analyzes key changes in, and reports general trends for the professional graphics market for 2Q04.

"Overall, the graphics market performed quite well in the second quarter. Year-over-year growth in the graphics card market was up 21.5% in terms of shipments and up 12.2% sequentially," said Lloyd Cohen, research director, Worldwide Market Analysis. "Looking forward, the leading vendors are introducing new PCI Express graphic boards that are expected to be well received in the marketplace. The remainder of 2004 is expected to show strong results for the board manufacturers."
