This IDC study considers the vendors that provided virtual user interface (VUI) software for the years 2003?2005. IDC believes that there is increasing opportunity in this market given the focus of organizations to improve the security and cost of their IT resources.
"The drive toward the centralization of services and thus the growth in the desire for centrally managed applications will capture the attention of new ISVs and other vendors that may bring new competition into the market," says Michael Rose, associate research analyst, Enterprise Virtualization Software.
