Description

The year 2008 ended with more choices for broadband technology and services for the Malaysia market, as both government and service providers (SPs) actively pursue the broadband penetration target set by the government in 2010. "While price remains a key determining factor for most subscribers, it will become increasingly important for SPs to push out add-on services on top of their basic broadband connectivity offerings in order to retain customers," says Karen Rondon, research manager, Mobile and Wireless Telecommunications, IDC Philippines.
