The New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) recently announced, to our surprise, it is opening up an open outcry commodities exchange in London. This move is in response to the International Petroleum Exchange's (IPE's) recent decision to close down its open outcry exchange and trade only electronically. NYMEX also announced it is planning to shift its electronic trading (e-miNY and NYMEX ACCESS) to the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) trading platform. Table of Contents
