The NDOS market grew faster than expected while the ISO market grew less than expected in 2005. IDC estimates Canadian businesses spent C$4.28 billion on ISO in 2005 rather than C$4.34 billion as we predicted. And we estimate they spent C$1.37 billion on NDOS rather than C$1.36 billion. "IDC believes the emergence of the managed services segment will have significant effect on the NDOS segment and, over time, will raise spending overall on IT outsourcing," says Jason Bremner, director, outsourcing services.
