"In 2005, 802.11g accounted for the majority of the market, with a 75% share; 802.11b fell to 5%; dual band grew to 16%; and pre-n was slightly higher than 3%. Vendors that diversified with dual band while focusing on 802.11g were the beneficiaries of this technology shift.
