Australia Small and Medium-Sized Communications Market, 2006Product Type: Market Research ReportPublished by: IDC Published: July 2006 Product Code: R104-26939 Description
This IDC study examines the spending patterns of Australia small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) both at present and in the next 12 months. Mobile phone usage and telephone services are the two main areas this study focuses on, with results coming from IDC's annual survey of Australia SMBs. "The Australia telecommunications SMB market reached a high level of maturity in terms of 'traditional' telephone products such as private automatic branch exchanges (PABXs) as well as mobile phones. Vendors in the telecom market in Australia will need to be very creative with their product offerings in order to attract new business in the SMB space. The rollout of new, high-speed services such as 3G and asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) 2 will facilitate the design of new products targeting SMBs," says Jean Marc Annonier, research manager, SMB Research, IDC Australia.
