Forces Driving Shifts in Imaging Strategy: Distributed Capture

This IDC Presentation examines the impact of distributed capture on the workplace environment and also looks at the impact of centralized capture as well. This presentation highlights a couple of case studies that illustrate the advantages of adopting a scanning and capture infrastructure in your organization. While the benefits of capture are compelling, it still requires proactive implementation and management. According to Kwon Chin, research manager, Document Solutions, "Centralized and distributed capture have a compelling value proposition in the marketplace. However, it would be foolish to expect one to disappear in favor of the other as both have their place in the market." This presentation was initially presented at the 2006 AIIM Show in Philadelphia.
