German External Disk Storage Systems Price Band Analysis, 2005 & 2010

This update offers a brief view of the German external disk storage systems forecasts by storage price band. A more detailed set of market forecasts, definitions, and forecast assumptions can be found in IDC's Western European Disk Storage Systems Forecast and Analysis, 2005-2010. A forecast assumptions table can be found in Table 29 in the aforementioned study. In this update, IDC has compressed the normal nine storage price bands into five. A pivot table containing cross-sections of price bands and installation environments (SAN, NAS, and DAS) is available to those that have purchased this update or subscribe to IDC's European Storage Systems Continuous Information Service.
