European Disk-Based Data Protection Usage

This Update is intended to be a very short document that explores the use of disk-based data protection within Europe. The findings are taken from a larger, 32-question survey of more than 500 European storage decision makers. Respondents to this survey were either directly responsible for storage purchases or influenced the storage purchases within their organization. The survey was carried out in October and November 2006, and was conducted across six countries/regions (U.K. and Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the Nordics). The organizations polled were distributed across multiple company sizes and industries.

Full analysis of our survey findings and a detailed methodology are available in our forthcoming annual storage survey report, a draft of which was currently available while this update was being written.
