This IDC study outlines why organizations are investing in servers and storage and the benefits that they are seeing by doing so. This research document provides helpful insights into how server and storage solutions vendors can refine their sales and marketing strategies to better align with the specific buying behaviours of large, medium-sized, and small organizations. The strong Canadian economy and dollar are combining to incent Canadian organizations to invest in their IT infrastructure. They have little choice because they need to increase productivity and improve operational efficiencies. To this end, Canadian businesses are acquiring more server and storage capability and emphasizing the need to better manage and exploit the investments already made in these resources.
