This IDC study looks at the current use and needs of the government sector in the Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) or APEJ region, as well as the future demand for a variety of telecommunications services drawing both on both supply- and demand-side research. The survey utilized examines end-user trends on telecommunications services uptake and network expenditures by the government verticals across the APEJ region. IDC surveyed the governments in 11 countries in APEJ to assess their telecommunications services and equipment usage and future needs. "The government sectors in APEJ are showing continued demand for telecommunications services," says Tim Crowley, research manager, Communications Research, IDC Asia/Pacific.
