Australia, Hong Kong, India, Korea, the People's Republic of China, and Thailand. The objective of the survey was to understand the enterprise mobility adoption trends among prosumers in the region.

"The top driver for prosumers to use mobile business applications in Asia/Pacific is the need to rapidly respond to customer needs. Prosumers tend to use the applications on a voluntary basis and therefore, they use the applications to be more proactive in responding to customers or managing their own tasks," says Shalini Verma, research manager, Asia/Pacific Communications Research, IDC Asia/Pacific.
